Ingredients
½ lb. lean ground beef (at least 80% lean)
1 (13.8-oz.) can refrigerated classic pizza crust
¼ cup pizza sauce
4 oz. (1 cup) La Fe mozzarella cheese, shredded
¼ cup chopped green and/or red bell pepper,
if desired
¼ teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

Directions
-
STEP ONE
Begin by heating the oven to 400 degrees F. Spray or oil the cookie sheet. Now, brown the beef in a
medium skillet over medium-high heat until
completely cooked, making sure to stir frequently. Following this, drain the meat and set it aside. -
STEP TWO
Now, unroll the pizza dough and place it on the
cookie sheet. Starting at the center, press the dough with your hands to form a rectangle. -
STEP THREE
Following this, spread the pizza sauce over the dough to within 2 inches of long sides and 1/2 inch of short sides. Now, place the cooked ground beef
lengthwise down center, forming 3-inch-wide strip. Top the meat with the mozzarella cheese, bell
pepper and Italian seasoning. Fold long sides of dough over filling; press edges to seal. -
STEP FOUR
Bake for roughly 15 to 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
